Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís
Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís is Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received his PhD from the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He received his MBA from IE Business School, his MSc. thesis in software engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne (Switzerland) and a MSc. in Telecommunications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). He has participated and led several European research projects FP5, FP6 and H2020, ITEA3 and others of the National R&D Plan.
Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís has published more than 100 international scientific contributions through books, journals, conferences and workshop contributions. He has been program committee, reviewer, assistant and organizer of scientific events of various types. His current research interests include Semantic Technologies, Applied Artificial Intelligence, especially in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and, recently, Blockchain technologies.
